Public transportation from Prague airport
The easiest way to get from the airport is by bus. There are two main companies that operate public transportation buses from the airport - Prague Public Transportation and Airport Express. The bus stop is located right outside of the arrivals terminals, so you can't miss it! The ride into the city center takes about 45 minutes with both options.
With Airport Express there is no need to change Your transportation during the way to the city center. Bus runs approximately every 30 minutes during day. You can pay the driver directly in cash (CZK only) or by card. Once you're on the bus, sit back and relax! When you get to Staroměstská, you'll be in the heart of Prague's Old Town.
You can also jump on the bus lines 100 or 119. But on the end station, You will have to take a metro - don't worry, one ticket can cover both transportations. Prague Public Transportation buses require a prepaid ticket, which can be bought at the Prague Public Transportation offices located in both terminals, as well as at some newsstands and tobacco shops. You can also buy your ticket online ahead of time on their website with application Lítačka.
